Reflexite Helmet Decals are specially designed to comply with NFPA requirements for fire helmet marking.  They are die cut from fluorescent lime micro-prismatic material making them about 7 times brighter than standard reflective tape.

We carry Reflexite FRA approved Rail Car Tape in 4″ rolls kiss cut at 18″ intervals.  Much like having 18″ strips on a roll.  Comparable to crystal or diamond grade tapes in brightness but thinner and easier to work with. (White and Non Kiss Cut rolls also available – see below)

Reflexite R99 Rail Car reflective tape is FRA approved and carries the FRA logo. It is specifically designed to improve the nightime visibility of railroad cars. It uses micro-prismatic lenses to reflect light and will adhere to a wide variety of surfaces. Our rolls are kiss-cut into standard 18″ lengths for easy application. Rated for an outdoor life of ten years. R99 railroad conspicuity tape can also be applied to school buses, vehicles, industrial equipment, bollards and any other items where night time visibility is a requirement. Exceeds FRA reflectivity requirements.

Our Reflexite Rail Gate Arm Prismatic Retroreflective Tape is a Type V prismatic reflective tape.  It is designed for rugged, outdoor use in rail and other gate arm conspicuity applications. It is MUTCD compliant.

This tape exceeds the requirements of the US DOT FHWA Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) – 2009 Edition per Section 8C.04 Paragraph 05 stating “Gate arms shall be fully retroreflectorized on both sides and shall have vertical stripes alternatively red and white at 16-inch intervals measured horizontally”.

Reflexite gate arm tape is extremely bright tape and can be seen from well over a thousand feet away.   D82 gate arm tape is rated for a 10 year outdoor life.  Like all Reflexite tapes it has a very aggressive adhesive and sticks well to any smooth, clean surface.

Reflexite Prismatic School Bus Tape is a highly reflective yellow tape that is 5 times more reflective than standard reflective materials.  It is used to make  school buses more conspicuous.  It is easy to apply tape and far exceeds the 1995 National Standards for School Buses, ASTM D4956-94, Type V, FMVSS 217. We carry Reflexite’s V82 (10 year durability) and V92 (5-7 year durability). The V82 School Bus Tape is the brighter of the two tapes.  It reflects at a rate of  470 candelas.  V92 reflects at 310 candelas.  Both types can be seen from over a thousand feet away.

We carry SOLAS IMO/FD1403 M82 in 1″ – 4″ rolls in our online retail stores.  We have it in widths up to 30″ on a wholesale basis. 

SOLAS is a Coast Guard designation that stands for “Safety Of Life At Sea”.  SOLAS tape is used in marine environments to assist search and rescue operations.  The tape is applied to life boats, life rafts, life jackets, life rings and other objects so that they can be spotted in the water by rescue personnel.

The main difference between SOLAS and other reflective tapes is brightness.  SOLAS reflects light at over 1000 candelas.  Standard engineer grade sheeting like you would see on a car tag reflects at about 75 candelas.  This extreme reflectivity allows the tape to be seen for thousands of feet instead of hundreds which can mean the difference between life and death for someone in the water.

It is for this reason that SOLAS reflective films are popular in many other applications besides marine environments.  Motorcyclists use it quite often to increase their visibility to automobiles.  Its ability to cut through blinding snow make it popular for snowmobiles and snow trail markers. 

SOLAS always refers to a tape that is a grayish color in daylight and a bright white when reflecting.  A colored tape that is similar to SOLAS would be our V82 tape.

Another unique feature of Reflexite SOLAS is the aggressive 5 mil thick adhesive system designed to create a strong bond between the tape and the substrate.  This is approximately double the adhesion of competitive brands.

DOT tape is a federally regulated material that is required on larger semi trucks and trailers.  The tape must meet certain requirements to be compliant.  Reflexite DOT tapes exceed all federal and state specification.  (Many of the less expensive tapes found on many online stores do not meet minimum requirements making them both non compliant and dangerous.)  By using Reflexite tapes you can rest assured that you are compliant and safe.

We carry three lines of Reflexite DOT – C2 tapes.  V92, V82, and V52.  The V92 film is the day bright version and is a 5 year film.  The V82 is the brightest and is a 10 year film.  V52 is basically a V82 film with little diamonds printed into the tape.  The pattern makes the tape look like diamond plate and is a decorative pattern only.  All Reflexite DOT tapes exceed state and federal requirements for conspicuity tape.

Reflexite V82 Conspicuity Material is a Type V microprismatic retroreflective sheeting. This is the brightest tape in the Reflexite line.  It is very similar to our SOLAS tape but in colors. We carry the V82 prismatic tapes in WHITE , STANDARD YELLOW , SCHOOL BUS YELLOW , BLUE , GREEN , ORANGE , and RED rolls. We carry rolls from 1″ wide to 24″ wide in our retail online stores.  We also offer the tape in widths as wide as 30″ to wholesale customers.  (minimum purchase of 30″ of material)

The sheeting is designed for rugged outdoor use on the sides and rear of trucks, trailers, school buses, farm equipment, automobiles and all types of mobile and industrial equipment. The sheeting is composed of cube corner (microprism) retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced, tough and weather-resistant UV stabilized polymeric film. The prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum deposit of aluminum to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. The resulting tape is not more than 0.006 inch thick and comes with an aggressive high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive.

Reflexite invented prismatic reflective tapes and makes them in a single layer thus eliminating problems that arise from delamination.   Reflexite tapes DO NOT come apart like other brands.  For dynamic applications this is a very important feature.

V98 prismatic reflective sheeting is the most advanced material for vehicle graphics on the market. It is conformable, repositionable, very tough and extremely bright. It is also the easiest prismatic material to plotter cut.  I use a 60 degree blade and moderate pressure.  

Reflexite V98 is a weather and solvent resistant microprismatic retroreflective sheeting designed for rugged outdoor use on the sides and rear of trucks, trailers, school buses, farm equipment, automobiles and all types of mobile and industrial equipment. It is a conformable graphic sheeting composed of cube corner (microprism) retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth surfaced tough and weather resistant UV stabilized polymeric film.

V98 has a repositionable adhesive that once installed, builds adhesion over time.  To apply you simply peel and stick to a clean, dry surface.  The material has the ability to conform over mild compound curves.  Heating with a hair dryer softens the material and enhances its ability to conform.

Oralite (formerly Reflexite) Retro-Reflective V92 Daybright Tape is a prismatic conspicuity material available in  red, white, school bus yellow, blue, green, orange and fluorescent lime. (Note – Lime discontinued in V92/97 line but now available in V98 line)  We carry rolls from 1″ wide to 24″ wide in our online retail stores.  For our wholesale customers we carry rolls up to 30″ wide. (minimum purchase required)

The sheeting has a unique appearance featuring a printed triangular line pattern which enhances the daytime color of the tape.  This is where the Daybright name comes from.  UV and solvent resistant coatings ensure durability which allows for rugged outdoor use on the sides and rear of police cars, emergency vehicles, fire engines, trucks, trailers, school buses, farm equipment, automobiles, bollards, dumpsters, containers, and all types of mobile and industrial equipment. An aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows the tape to be used on a multitude of smooth substrates.  Because these films reflect using prisms instead of glass beads, they can be seen from much further away.  This allows for more response time for the viewer.   This material can be cad cut (plotter cut) into letters, shapes, numbers, etc…
